Every person starts a list of New Year’s resolutions, but we’re going to start a list of resolutions for your home instead. We think it’s time that our homes received some New Year’s love and effort, too!

1. Clean Those Corners

The corners of our rooms have a tendency to accumulate dirt, dust, and crumbs. We are going to add the cleaning of room corners to our home’s New Year’s resolutions list to help our home start the new year a little cleaner and fresher.

2. Purge The Chaos

As this year is coming to a close, we’ve noticed that our home is getting a bit cluttered. With a new year approaching quickly, we think it’s time to conduct a purge of the clutter and chaos in our home. We will declutter our home and purge items from:

  • Closets
  • The attic
  • The basement
  • Crawl spaces
  • Under beds

3. Keep Up With The Cleaning

We’re tired of having so much to do on our family cleaning day. The house wouldn’t be this dirty if we’d keep up with the cleaning on a regular basis. So, we’ve decided that we’re going to create a weekly cleaning schedule. Each member of the house gets a weekly chore to perform, which will be written out on the schedule. This New Year’s resolution will keep our home clean throughout the year.

4. New Year, New Carpets

Heavy foot traffic has left the carpets inside of our home dirty, grungy, and flat. We think our home deserves a new carpet this coming new year. Well, a newer-looking carpet. We plan on calling in Triple S professional carpet cleaners to remove all of the stains and smells from our carpets so that they look fresh and new.
